ILALA LODGE | VICTORIA FALLS
Ilala Lodge is ideally situated close to Victoria Falls as well as the town centre. The Zambezi National Park borders the front of the property and wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns with the spray of the falls in the background. Each of the 32 standard rooms is spacious and equipped with a satellite television, air conditioning, and coffee and tea-making equipment. Each has an en suite bathroom with both a bath and shower. The impressive swimming pool has a large wooden sundeck overlooking the national park and is a welcome oasis from the bustling town of Victoria Falls. The Palm restaurant offers both European and African cuisine and is an ideal place to dine alfresco under the stars. The lodge can organise numerous activities in and around Victoria Falls and has its own exclusive cruise boat, the Ra-Ikane, with daily excursions (payable locally) along the Zambezi river.

Ilala Lodge Hotel offers 34 rooms in total: 30 Standard Twin Rooms - each with two 3/4 beds in each, 2 Standard Double Rooms - each with one King-size bed in each, and 2 Deluxe Suite Rooms - both situated on the upper level each with 1 King-size bed and 1 extra 3/4 bed for either an extra adult or a child.

THINGS TO DO AT ILALA LODGE
Victoria Falls has a lot to offer the visitor and is known as Africa's adventure capital. From high adrenalin activities like bungee jumping and white water rafting to more sedate pastimes like fishing or elephant back safaris, Victoria Falls has it all.
WALKING WITH LIONS
Lion walks are available in the mornings and afternoons on a private estate. The safari includes walking with these majestic animals as part of their pre-release training and funds go directly to the African Lion Rehabilitation & Release into the Wild Program. Either breakfast or lunch & refreshments are included.
SUNSET CRUISE
The Ra-Ikane, the only one of its kind in Victoria Falls, is a small luxury cruise boat that is out-fitted to suggest, in exquisite detail, an ambiance of a bygone era. The vessel was built to replicate the “Ma-Robert” – Dr David Livingstone’s boat. This cruise boat is exclusive and personalised and designed to complement your stay with us. To get your heart racing, try out either the 111m Bungi Jump off the world famous Victoria Falls Bridge or take the plunge and test the Gorge Swing and Zip Line.
The legendary railway bridge is an integral part of any Victoria Falls experience. Learn its fascinating history with an entertaining theatrical presentation about the bridge and the men who built it and the rare opportunity to walk on the catwalks beneath the Bridge, used in the original construction in 1904.
