Hotel Information

 Jabulani Safari Camp

Jabulani is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of land Zimbabwe has to offer. Nestled among 1380-hectares of indigenous woodland, the camp is secluded and peaceful giving our guests a personal and private bush experience. However, we are also easily located. Jabulani is a short distance from both Bulawayo and Gweru and accessible by car.

We remain dedicated to making our guests feel at home, creating a perfect bush experience. From sundowners at the watering hole, to dinner underneath the stars, we are determined to show our guests the very best African hospitality has to offer. We provide both hearty farmhouse cuisine and comfortable accommodation. Jabulani has eight upmarket chalets and a dormitory for large groups all cared for by our warm and friendly staff.

Room Types

Our thatched chalets are elegant and comfortable. And while we encourage our guests to get out and explore our beautiful surrounds, we know there is nothing better than falling asleep after an action filled day, listening to the night sounds under the scent of wooden thatch.

      Chalets

There are eight thatched chalets at Jabulani to choose from. We have four double rooms and four twin rooms each with their own en-suite bathrooms fully equipped with bath and shower facilities. Our chalets are attended to daily by our warm friendly staff who are on hand to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We strive to provide our guests with clientele exclusivity. Therefore we limit our lodge guests to sixteen people at any one time.

Dormitories

The African bush is the perfect place for a group getaway, conference or corporate team-building. There are two dormitories, each capable of sleeping 25 people. Attracted by our wide-range of adventure activities, this accommodation is often utilised by schools and corporate companies, eager to have their pupils and staff experience the magic Zimbabwe has to offer.

Both dormitories have their own ablution blocks, fully equipped with reliable hot and cold water shower facilities. These ablution blocks are also made available to our campers.

Things to do at Jabulani Safari Camp

Let us show you what an African safari is really about. Game drives at Jabulani are breathtaking. The sight of an African sun rising is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Watching it bathe the earth in red as it sets is equally magnificent. At Jabulani, we can show you this and more.

 Walking Trail

Jabulani will make you see the world through different eyes. The opportunities to explore and share the magic of our natural surrounds are endless. Not only do we provide a refuge for over 40 native wildlife species, we offer our guests an exciting range of adventure activities. Game viewing on horseback, a trail-walk with one of our guides, mountain biking through the veldt or a 4x4 drive to our game hot-spots - we have something for everyone.

GAME DRIVES

During our morning game drives, we’ll spoil you with fresh coffee and homemade rusks while you sit comfortably and observe the Africa as it awakens. In the afternoon, our experienced rangers will take you to our game hotspots, where you can take in the stunning views while enjoying a sundowner. To end the day, a night drive under the stars is a thrill not to be missed. Our guides will navigate their way through the bush with a spotlight, illuminating our nocturnal wildlife, before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

         Hiking Safari

What better way to explore the African wilderness than on your own two feet. Jabulani Safari’s offers our guests the magical opportunity to walk among our natural wildlife, with our trained and experienced guides.

There is something thrilling about seeing the animals from their level on the ground. You will notice so much more away from the protection of a vehicle, and there is no limit to the knowledge that our rangers will share with you during this once in a lifetime experience.
