Kanga Bush Camp
Kanga Camp is set in a private concession in Mana Pools, 15 km from the Zambezi River along the seasonal floodplain of the Ruckomechi River, not too far Chitake Springs.Tents are comfortably furnished in a large walk-in Meru style, with en-suite bathroom facilities, out-door bucket showers with flushing toilets and private verandas over-looking the water hole. The private concession is set away from the crowds in a remote part of the legendary Mana pools where a private safari experience is the focus, and tracking wildlife on foot is a specialty.The main chill-out area is built on raised decking, under the shade of large trees. It overlooks the splash pool and Kanga pan, where abundant game can be viewed. Cuisine & Dining: The central relaxing lounge also transposes as the dining area, where you will enjoy great home cooked meals with other guests, rangers and guides. Bush dining can also be arranged. A 12 bedded seasonal camp built around a water hole, which acts as the main attraction for wildlife in the area as it is the only source of permanent water in the location.

The 12-bedded tented camp has en-suite bathroom facilities with outdoor showers and basins overlooking the water hole. One of the tents is a family tent with its own private dining and seating area.
Tented Camp
.Nestling under the branches of a Jackalberry tree Kanga Camp accommodates twelve guests in six meru-style tents, one of which is a family tent. Facilities consist of a flush loo that has been incorporated into the canvas of each tent and a rustic outdoor shower and washbasin with hot and cold running water and waterhole view. Built on raised decking to provide an elevated view of Kanga Pan waterhole the comfortably furnished guest areas are under canvas. The honeymoon suite at Kanga has the bonus of its own large free-standing bath in a private annex.
DiningArea
The main area has a comfortable lounge and dining area offering you uninterrupted views of a very active water hole. Relax in the upper deck lounge under the shade of a mahogany or sit on the deck below near the splash pool and enjoy Kanga − the old Africa in a new era.

Kanga Pan can be best described as an explorer’s paradise… an untamed area within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mana Pools, it gives you the pure and unspoilt African experience. The area is very diverse and permanent water source makes it a hub for wildlife.

Game drives are in open four-wheel drive vehicles and night drives, but the most unique and exciting activity is tracking wild life on foot with a professional guide: the possibility to leave your vehicle, or even walk out of the camp with an experienced professional guide is a rare experience in National Parks, and this is one of the best walking territories in Africa. You will enjoy thrilling nature walks to areas unreachable by car, and get even closer to nature and the animals.

Canoeing Safari
Kanga is the only private concession in Mana Pools: so you are unlikely to meet anyone when on game-viewing excursions, and you will get a true sense of privacy. Canoeing safaris on the Zambezi can be organised on request in advance, as well as full-day excursions to the Zambezi River.
Mana Pools National Park
Mana Pools National Park lies at the heart of the Zambezi Valley, a remote, beautiful place with spectacular views. The area offers large concentrations of buffalo and elephant, while predators such as lion, wild dog, leopard and cheetah are often sighted. Greater kudu, Burchell's zebra, impala, warthog and common waterbuck can be seen on the surrounding plains and the grunting of hippo can be heard all day. Birdlife is superb, with numerous local specials like collared palm-thrush and racket-tailed roller.
