Hotel Information

The Leopard Rock Hotel is one of Zimbabwe’s legendary and most well-known tourist establishments. Located in the Bvumba Mountains in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, the Leopard Rock Hotel has been a favourite haunt of royalty, sport stars, celebrities - as well as “ordinary” tourists who appreciate the finer things in life.

The Leopard Rock Hotel in the Vumba Mountains with its French Chateau atmosphere, was described as the most beautiful place in Africa by the British Queen Mother on her visit to Zimbabwe in 1953. Since then, little has changed.

Guests at the Leopard Rock Hotel in Zimbabwe are accommodated in 58 supremely stylish rooms, all en-suite and equipped with hair dryer, air-conditioning, safety deposit box, flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar, 13 A 220 V square plugs and 24-hour room service.

 Room Types

The hotel features 58 elegantly decorated colonial styled rooms, equipped with air conditioning, flat screen televisions with satellite channels, wireless internet access and in-room safety deposit boxes.

The Turret Wing Rooms

The Turret Wing Rooms are the original accommodation at the Leopard Rock Hotel. The spacious rooms retain their atmosphere, reminding guests of a bygone era. The family rooms in the Turret Wing are very popular among families visiting the Leopard Rock Hotel, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The Casino Wing Suites

The Casino Wing Suites and Casino Wing Rooms were added at a later stage, but are also decorated in the same stylish, classic way of the Turret Wing Rooms. At the Leopard Rock Hotel, the Casino Wing Suites are more spacious than the Casino Wing Rooms. The Casino Wing Suites each offer an adjacent lounge, furnished with sideboard, coffee table and comfortable easy chairs. While the Casino Wing Rooms are modern, they still have a classic feel, and the views from the balconies are unforgettable.

Facilities and Amenities

The hotel boasts superb cuisine whether one chooses the classic French La Roche, the more casual Conservatory or a relaxed alfresco meal in The Terrace. Meanwhile, Napoleon's Bar serves a variety of pre- and post-dinner drinks.

 The La Roche Restaurant
