Wildlife Of Namibia
Desert-adapted wildlife across Namibia is the highlight, particularly in the Damaraland and Palmwag Concessions, with black rhino being the highlight at the latter. On the Atlantic coast three species of dolphins, ocean birds and Cape fur seals may be encountered.
Ongava Game Reserve features almost all of the Etosha’s characteristic wildlife, with plains game such as springbok, gemsbok, wildebeest, Burchell's zebra, Hartmann's mountain zebra, red hartebeest, giraffe, eland and endemic black-faced impala seen; Etosha itself has elephant to add to the list. Lion and both black and white rhino are present. Birding across the country is excellent.
