The facilities at Crowne Plaza Monomotapa are specially designed for the convenience of the guest. The Hotel has basically three types of rooms which are standard rooms, king leisure rooms and luxurious suites. It also has the Presidential suite which is located in a secluded area for maximum privacy.
King Leisure Rooms
The rooms are located in such a way that the higher you go in terms of floors, the more luxurious the rooms with the standard rooms located from the 6th to the 14th floor, the king leisure rooms on the 15th and 16th floor, luxurious suites on the 18th floor and finally the presidential suite way up on the 19th floor. The rooms can also accommodate families with an option of checking into interlinking rooms. All the rooms at the hotel are overlooking the Harare Gardens which provides that fresh air which is not characteristic of the city.
The Crowne Plaza Monomotapa houses two of the finest up market restaurants in Zimbabwe, two trendy bars and one popular tea lounge.The Parkview Brasserie, with its huge windows overlooking the Harare Gardens, serves full English buffet breakfast, superb buffet lunches with a wide range of dishes, and buffet dinners which include the famous Mangolian Stir-Fry.The Aquarium bar is located on our Pool Deck, on the 2nd floor. This is the ideal place to meet offering a wide selection of cocktails and a light meal menu.

There are a number of popular tourist attractions in Harare. The National Gallery houses a collection of interesting and valuable pieces of art and sculpture, with a number of superb Shona soft-stone carvings. It also hosts several temporary international exhibitions.
Market at Mbare
Shopping in Harare is highly recommended. This city has an array of shops catering for every budget, including malls with fast-food, clothing, shoes and accessories. More interestingly, Harare offers the huge traditional open market at Mbare, where visitors can find a colourful array of baskets, food, clothing and various other items. By supporting the local craftsmen who sell their hand-made artwork, stone and wooden sculptures, and wicker goods, visitors can take home a unique piece of Africa that will be treasured for years to come.
