The Elephant Camp is situated only 10 minutes from Victoria Falls in a private concession within the Victoria Falls National Park. With an emphasis on exclusivity, the luxury tented suites all have private decks and plunge pools. The Elephant Camp overlooks a waterhole that is fed by natural streams in the rainy season that rush down to meet the Masuwe River, and the Zambezi gorges below the Falls. Comfortable thatched accommodation with en-suite facilities, well-prepared meals, experienced guides, the company of elephants and the warm and friendly Wild Horizons atmosphere will make this a truly memorable part of your African experience. Elephant Camp accommodates a maximum of eight guests. Four thatched chalets, a dining area, swimming pool and bar/patio overlook a sweeping view of open plains.  The panoramic views of the Falls are breathtaking from the central area and the west wing of camp whilst the Batoka gorge yawns before one from the rooms in the east wing.

The Elephant Camp offers exclusive suite accommodation for only 24 guests in 12 luxury tents. With an emphasis on exclusivity, the luxury tented suites all have private decks and plunge pools.

The Elephant Camp offers close interaction with wildlife – in particular elephant at the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary. All guests staying at The Elephant Camp will have an opportunity to meet the Wild Horizons elephants. All other activities on offer in Victoria Falls area are available at an additional cost.

Game drives, both at night and during the day, as well as guided walks, are also available - either on the estate or into the neighbouring Zambezi National Park.

ELEPHANT BACK SAFARIS

A number of activities are offered, with the emphasis on spending time with the elephants - either game viewing from their backs, picnicking with them on the estate, grooming and feeding them, swimming with them, or just experiencing the pleasure of being close to such magnificent animals.  

The royal sable antelope, with its dark glistening coat and needle-sharp horns, is a common and beautiful sight in the Zambezi National Park.  An excellent game-viewing spot is the open Njako Pan Platform, where you may see lions, elephants, bat-eared foxes and a large variety of birds.
