Overview
Zimbabwe is one of southern Africa's most enchanting countries with exquisite culture and a fascinating historical past combined with stunning landscapes and superb wildlife viewing.
Experience some of the country's best game parks and spectacular attractions, from Hwange National Park the largest wildlife reserve in Zimbabwe to the Mana Pools National Park, a World Heritage Site renowned for its large concentrations of elephant, buffalo, lions, leopard, large antelope species and smaller mammals.
Similarly, the shoreline in Zambia has private conservancy areas, game management areas, and the relatively unexplored Lower Zambezi National Park. This region is heavily populated by hippos and crocodiles and is renowned as a birder's paradise with over 300 species recorded.
To the west lie the spectacular Victoria Falls 'discovered' and named by David Livingstone in 1855, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. This 8-night comprehensive tour explores the country's unique geographical areas and varied landscapes, which offer some of the best wildlife viewing. You will be accompanied by your driver/guide throughout.

Standard Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Harare
On arrival in Harare, you will be met and transferred to Bronte Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or you can do an optional City tour, which includes the balancing rocks in Epworth.

Day 2: Fly to Mana Pools National Park, transfer to Ruckomechi Camp
Transfer to the airport for your light aircraft to Mana Pools. On arrival in Mana Pools, you will be met and transferred to Ruckomechi Camp.
The Camp: Ruckomechi Camp accommodates up to 22 guests in ten spacious en-suite tented units, including a honeymoon suite and family room. All of these units maximize views of the Zambezi River and the escarpment beyond. Each tent has both indoor and outdoor showers, and the camp boasts an outdoor ‘bath-with-a-view’ in a secluded, scenic spot.
A central dining, bar, library, and main area complete the camp offerings. There is a separate deck with an infinity pool for swimming and sunbathing, and an inviting, cushion-strewn sundowner and star-gazing deck.
Activities: Early morning walks with an experienced guide, morning and afternoon game drives, night drives, canoeing, and catch-and-release fishing.

Day 3: In Mana Pools National Park

Day 4: Fly to Hwange National Park
Transfer to Hwange National Park by a light aircraft, and a short road transfer from the airport will bring you to Little Makalolo Camp. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing in a Safari vehicle
The Camp: has six well-appointed units, including one honeymoon suite and a family unit, all with indoor and outdoor showers. This camp ensures maximum privacy with an intimate main area, dining room, and plunge pool. A log pile hide overlooking the waterhole in front of the camp affords guests a very unique game-viewing experience.
Area and Location: Little Makalolo Camp is located in the southeastern corner of the Park – an exclusive concession area of about 500 km2. The Makalolo Concession, in which this camp is found, is ecologically diverse, with large flat grasslands, vast palm-spotted plains, acacia woodlands, and teak forests. This lends itself well to the vast number of plains game that move in the area together with attendant predators.

Day 5: In Hwang National Park
Activities: Morning, afternoon-into-evening game drives together with guided walks through the concession maximize wildlife-viewing opportunities here.

Day 6: Drive to Victoria Falls
This morning after a game viewing and breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Victoria Falls. On arrival, you will check in at your hotel/ Lodge for two nights.
The Lodge: Is a testament to eco-friendly design, this 72-room lodge was created using local materials such as stone and thatch. Rooms are air-conditioned and have balconies overlooking the wildlife-rich Zambezi National Park. Highlights include on-site game viewing platforms and The Boma, which offers a unique dining and cultural experience.
Activities: Guided tours of Victoria Falls, cultural, museum, and market tours, morning or evening game drives in Mosi-Oa-Tunya, and morning or evening boat cruises on the Zambezi River. Victoria Falls is rated as one of the world’s top destinations for adrenaline and river activities.

Day 7: In Victoria Falls
Activities: After breakfast, we take to the sky for a bird’s eye view over magnificent Victoria Falls. The aerial view is unforgettable and is the only viewpoint from where you can visually take in all of Victoria Falls. After this safari, you explore the falls on foot. Feel the thunder, be touched by the mist, and enjoy endless great views as you walk the path hovering up close to the falls. Our late afternoon activities are filled with cultural highlights from a market and village tour.

Today your Africa holiday draws to an end and you will be transferred to the airport for your onward departure flight.
